Cbrom Exe Bios

Ive just extracted my bios from a MSI 9105LR which has Fastrak100 Lite onboard raid, had a go at removing the Fastrak100 Lite code and then spliced the latest bios for the Fastrak100 addin raid card from Promises webby.
It all appears to have gone fine and the new bios's list of components shows the new code component for the full blowen Fastrak100.
Thing is i did this under a WinXP command prompt - is this OK?
Has anyone tried this with other mobo's and had success going from Lite to Full version Raid?
Im not in the mood right now to be guinea pig as i aint got the time to fix it if it goes wrong View image: /infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
Any feedback or advice be gratefully received.
Thanx,
rockhard =)

To modify the BIOS image, this malicious program uses the cbrom.exe utility (by Phoenix Technologies) incorporated into its resources. Using this utililty, the Trojan horse injects its module hook.rom as an ISA BIOS ROM into the image. Then Trojan.Bioskit.1 issues a command to its another driver to reflash the BIOS using the updated file. Now we can rename the edited file back to cpucode.exe (HINT: click the link to get the edited file), and use CBROM to install it in the BIOS - we'll use '6b4' as the file extension for the modified BIOS. The BIOS will pick the correct resolution based on which video mode is supported. If you provide not enough memory (selectable in BIOS setup menu), the highest modes will fail and the BIOS will try a lower video mode. There must be 3 logos since the BIOS can hang if you want to force a video mode (e.g. 1024x768) while the video. This program WILL work with both the 256K Award 4.xx BIOS and the new Medallion BIOS that CBROM simply won't work with. Awardmod can be downloaded from here. Award changed the version system it was using for the CBROM program. Version 2.xx CBROM programs are newer than version 6.xx CBROM Programs. CBROM 1.xx is for Award BIOS 4.5 series only.
